Hey, if things didn't seem hopeless it wouldn't be Harry Potter, right?

Thanks!

“I’m speechless,” Ginny marveled. “Ron’s been such a prat for so long. What’s got into him?” She gave Hermione an appraising look. “It’s you, isn’t it? You’re domesticating him.”

I laughed so hard at that haha! But really, Hermione's always been good for him.
Poor Harry... in denial git! Honestly, he deserves to be sat down and ranted at haha.
Amazing chapter,

Ron provides humor even when he's not in the scene.

I want to thank you for leaving all these reviews, too.

Poor Harry. He's lovesick but doesn't realize it. Dumbledore was correct about love being the difference between him and Voldemort.

Not being able to fly sure got his attention.

You describe Harry exactly.

I just happen to be re-reading HBP right now, the chapter in which DD harangues Harry about the differences you mention. In th end, Harry sort of gets it, and in the very next chapter he finally kisses Ginny. Good timing!

No, no, no, where´s more? You can´t leave now!
This is one great theory - wizards/witches loosing their magical abilities when being love-sick! (and well-proved as well; how come Jo hadn´t remember it?)
Hope to have the next chapter asap!

O.D.,

Sorry for the little cliffie, it will be quickly resolved with the next chapter, which my beta already has. There was a delay of a few days in posting ch. 4 because of the Easter holiday.

The theory that Harry's magic would be affected by his emotional turmoil over Ginny is not my own, but was suggested a couple of years ago on a thread on Chamber of Secrets Forums by someone else, I have long forgotten who. But it's also hinted at in HBP twice, first concerning Tonks and her rejection (at first) by Remus; and second concerning Merope Gaunt and her rejection by Tom Riddle, Senior. The theory is fun to play with, although poor Harry might not agree.

I hope Harry's problem doesn't last long. I think it's time of a talk or yelling. Great chapter. Thanks for sharing.

I hope so too, but we'll see what happens. Thanks for reviewing.
