Worst fears.
I live on the East Coast of the US, and I get online at various times between 7 AM and midnight. I suppose I need to get a life.
Nothing happened to Filch at the end of HH, I sort of ignored him. I don't recall even mentioning him in Ginny's House.

OMG! When I read she was laying on the ground dead, my heart fell to the ground.. It was only after I realized that Harry and Ginny at least 19 years, it's beating resumed to somewhat normal.. Well done, well done.. I can't express how much I enjoy your writing. |

Sorry I gave you a heart attack there. Don't worry, I will never kill them off.
Thank you! I so appreciate hearing from readers like yourself.

Ah! The plot thickens! This is getting heavier by the moment. I can see why McGonagal is upset. The fact that Firenze is so upset is disturbing in the extreme. Thinking about building a house is trivial while all these other problems are being sorted out. I look forward to more of this story. Thanks for writing. pms |

Hey Patches! It's excellent to see you here at Ginny's House! I know that you like thickening plots, too.

OMG! What an amazing chapter! I loved the Hog's Head, so I was really glad that you have decided to write a sequel. I just read the first three chapters and I am dying to know what comes next. I can't wait for the next chapter. + 4ever |

Actually, JK Rowling said McGonagall would be retired by the time The Potter kids attended Hogwarts. No telling when that will be. In fact, I found the exact words. It says, McGonagall would be retired by the time of the Deathly Hallows epilogue (19 years after the main events of Deathly Hallows), as she is "getting on in years." So I figured in your story you were showing her "getting on in years." hehe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogwarts_staff |

I think I vaguely remember that. It's ok because Ginny's House takes place five years after DH ends.
Thanks Dee!

Wow! That was great. I love a good mystery. It seems as though you are out-doing yourself from The Hog's Head. It's great that you are writing again. I've been missing a good Harry and Ginny story.
I know that Professor McGonagall didn't stay in the Headmistress position too long after Deathly Hallows. Will you write that into this story? Am curious about when she retired or just went back to being a teacher. It seems you are writing her character very well to end her being the Headmistress.
As always, I love your Harry and Ginny. I love their closeness. It's special and amazing. Keep up the good work. Thanks again for giving me some good Harry and Ginny to read. *^_^*

Dee,
I didn't know that JKR had said that about McGonagall, or else I forgot it. She'll still be Headmistress at the end of this story.
And you know that I wrote the story because I also needed more Harry/Ginny.

OOOO... you've inadvertenly given something away....the pensive won't be as easliy 'fixed' as a boggart - no simple spell and laughter - it's more complicated but I expected it would be
the intricacies of your stories is what makes them so good.
I can't help but wonder where Dumblebore is off to...
I also thought it was intersting that Giiny in the pensive was obviously pregnant meaning Harry already loves their yet to be conceived child ...nice touch. |

Interesting....the pensive has become kind of like a bogart - reminds me of the OotP when Molly Wesley's worst fear was every one she loved lying dead. Can't wait to find out what's bothering Firenze.... |

I hadn't thought of it that way, as a boggart, but it is similar. Good one!
