A/N-As a loyal h/g fan, there is a line in this chapter that caused me to shudder as I wrote it. 10 house points for whoever can find it first. :-)

Ginny landed with an ‘oomph’ beside Harry. He crawled over to her, took her in his arms, and said, “Are you alright, Love?”
“Alright? You’re alive, if you want I could fly to the moon.”
“Sorry I was a bit of a prat earlier, but why didn’t you wait for me?” Harry asked.
“You were dead.”
“Death can’t stop true love, all it can do is delay it for a little while,” Harry replied.
“I will never doubt again.” Harry leaned over and gave her a tender kiss on the lips.
“There will never be a need,” he said.
He knew that Draco was on his way, and that they had to get out of there fast. “Come love, we need to hurry,” Harry said. He helped her to her feet and looked over the hill. Sure enough, there was Draco and his Aurors.
Harry grabbed Ginny by the arm and again they took off running. Comprehension began to dawn on Ginny. Looking at Harry she asked, “Why are we heading into the Forbidden Forest? We‘ll never survive.”
“Nonsense, you’re only saying that because no one ever has. Besides, it’s the quickest way to escape. And since we can not Apparate, because we don’t know the location of where we are going, it’s the only alternative we have.”
They slowly made their way into the Forbidden Forest. Harry took out his wand and used the Severing Charm to cut through Devil’s Snare and belladonna. Harry also had his wand out for another reason; he knew that the Centaurs and other creatures would not like their presence in the forest.
As they slowly started to make their way into the dark forest, Ginny notice it was getting even more quite and darker as they went along. Her heart began to pound as the last luminous rays of the sun began to surrender to the thick, encroaching gloom. Tripping over a root, she steadied herself and plunged on with Harry ever deeper into the forest.
Her pulse raced, and she began to breathe heavily as the path narrowed and the trees became like the bars of a long forgotten dungeon. There were no animal sounds, only her breathing. It grew heavier and heavier.
“Harry? What are we going to do if we run into any creatures? The forest is full of dangerous beasts. What about the SUS’s?”
“Spiders of Unusual Size?” he asked. Ginny nodded. “I don’t believe they exist,” Harry said trying to laugh it off, when he was really as scared as she was.
Hearing something behind her, she whirled around and stared directly into a huge pair of black eyes. Rather she stared into eight large black eyes, standing above her, ready to strike.
Harry quickly moved in front her and pointed his wand at the acromantula throwing a stunner at it. The hex hit the spider, but bounced off. He might as well have thrown a rock at it for all the good it did him. The spider lunged at Harry with its poisonous fangs ready to strike. Dodging out of the way, Harry tried hexing the spider again. It was no use. ‘The spider must be too magical for single spells,” he thought.
“Ginny, on the count of three, throw a stunner at it if you can.”
“I don’t have my wand!” she replied.
“Please Ginny, just try. One…Two…THREE!” he shouted
Rolling under the spider, he aimed another Stunner at its soft belly, at the same time Ginny threw a Stunner at it using wandless magic. The spider was thrown back and landed in a heap on the forest floor.
“Are you alright, Love,” she asked, running over to him. “Oh, you’re bleeding.” She had noticed that he had a deep cut on his shoulder. Never being skilled in healing charms, the best she could do was clean it out.
Harry stood up and grabbed her around the waist, kissing her deeply. Releasing her, he took her hand and they continued to the lake, and freedom.
Walking about an hour more without incident, they finally made it through the Forbidden Forest. Tired and beaten, they came out by the lake. Unfortunately, they were met with a rude surprise. For who should they find waiting on them, but Prince Draco?
“Surrender!” Prince Draco said, seeing the couple walk out of the forest hand in hand.
“You mean you wish to surrender to me? Very well, I accept,” said Harry.
I give you full marks for being the brave Gryffindor you are, don't make yourself a fool,” Draco said.
Ah, but how will you capture us? We know the secrets of the Forbidden Forest. We can live there quite happily for some time. So, whenever you feel like dying, feel free to visit.
“Surrender,” sneered the Prince again.
“That will never happen.”
“SURRENDER!” Draco shouted.
“DEATH FIRST!” roared Harry.
Ginny looked around and noticed several Aurors hiding behind trees with their wands trained on Harry. She knew she had to do something or she would lose him again.
“Will you promise not to hurt him?” Ginny asked the Prince.
“What was that?” asked Draco and Harry at the same time.
“If I go with you,” she continued, “will you let him go and promise not to hurt him?”
“Of course, my darling, you have my word. I will not harm him,” replied the Prince.
Ginny walked over to Harry. Reaching up to give him a hug she said, “I lost you once, and I couldn’t bear to lose you again. Not when I can stop it.” She let him go, softly kissed his cheek, and walked over to Prince Draco. With a soft ‘pop,’ they were gone.
The moment they Disapparated, there was a shout from somewhere behind Harry. Before he could react, his world went black.
